Methodology

Chic Behavioral Health and Community Services employs two key approaches in our behavioral programming: a trauma-informed approach and a parasocial approach. Our trauma-informed approach to behavioral health entails acknowledging and addressing the widespread impact of trauma on individuals' mental and emotional well-being. This framework prioritizes the creation of an environment that nurtures safety, empowerment, and resilience, all while recognizing the prevalence of trauma in people's lives. Conversely, our parasocial methodology concentrates on fostering a sense of connection and engagement among individuals. Through the integration of these two approaches, our goal is to establish a therapeutic, impactful, and healing environment that also cultivates a strong sense of community.
