How we evaluate our programs
How an organization evaluates their programming is just as important as how they design and implement their programs. Below is a general overview of how we at Chic evaluate our programming. We also welcome feedback and suggstions from program participants and the community at large.
Evaluation Plan
The success of our Girl’s Group Sessions will be assessed through a comprehensive evaluation framework, considering a variety of key indicators. Our three main indicators include:
-
Reduction in Negative Behaviors and Rise in Emotional Regulation: One of our goals is to observe a noticeable reduction in negative behaviors among participants while providing the tools for emotional regulation stemming from trauma. Behavioral assessments and ongoing observations will be utilized to measure this aspect.
-
Successful Implementation and Utilization of REAP (Racial Equity Action Plan): The successful implementation and integration of our Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP) will be monitored and evaluated to ensure its effectiveness in fostering equity within the project.
-
Establishing Connections with Community Partners and Grow Donor Base: Strengthening connections with community partners will be measured through collaborative initiatives and the depth of engagement with these partners. We aim to achieve a 30% growth in our Donor Base by the end of the fiscal year. Any and all growth in our donor base will be tracked to ensure the project's sustainability and financial health.
Other indicators that we will also be evaluating include attendee task completion, participation increase, partnership sustainability, and enhanced brand reputation through testimonials. Aggregate data provided from JCO's, schools, alongside our captured data from our programming, will help us to further assess the progress and success of our initiatives. These multifaceted measures will provide a holistic understanding of the project's impact, effectiveness, and success across various dimensions.
We hope to continue implementation of our Girl’s Group Sessions starting in September 2024, with funding assistance.
